 Jane Vern Schlachter

Attorney Schlachter has a reputation as being a respected, outspoken, caring and strong advocate in all aspects of  Family Law and Personal Injury for the past twenty seven years.  In addition to being the founding principle, Jane V. Schlachter, is a proud mother of three and a grandmother. She is a long time resident of Marietta in Cobb County, Georgia.  She originates from Brooklyn, New York where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 1972, and a Master of Science in Education in 1974.  She moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 1975 and earned her Juris Doctorate from Woodrow Wilson College of Law in 1984. 

 

She served as Vice President of her senior law class and held the position of Vice President of the Solo/Small Section of the Cobb County Bar Association. She is a member of the Family Law Section of the Cobb County Bar Association.  She is a member of the Delta Theta Law Fraternity and The National Association  of Professional Women.  Jane Schlachter is involved and has been a leader of numerous volunteer and professional organizations in both Georgia and nationally. She believes that the very heart of any community, nation,  or country begins with the family.
